Harrogate Pierrots Yorkshire

Harrogate Pierrots, led by Thomas Henry Coleman (born London, 1867), of Harrogate, Yorkshire, England. Coleman's Pierrots entertained in parks and gardens, including the Stray, and the streets of Harrogate, where they were accompanied by a portable piano in a converted pram, and performed to wounded soldiers in military hospitals during the First World War. Coleman was a friend friend of the Tzar of Russia, for whom his troupe performed in Moscow. Following his time with the Harrogate Pierrots, Coleman ran a music dealership in Lowther Arcade.
